Frequently Asked Questions
What Will My Child Need For Class?
Dancers will need the proper shoes and dance attire. Shoes are required for class and can be purchased through the studio. All dancers will need shoes by the fourth class they are in attendance. This will give parents ample time to order. Dance clothes must be worn to class. Examples of the proper clothing are: Tights, leotards, unitards, boy-cut dance shorts, tank top, and crop top. No street clothes will be allowed. Gymnasts must wear athletic style clothing and practice barefoot. Shoes can be worn into the gym and taken off once inside. Hair must be pulled up and out of the face for all dance and gymnastic classes.

Shoes need to be labeled and brought to class in a dance bag that is also labeled. No food or drink (water only), is allowed in the dance room.
Can parents stay in the dance room or gym and watch?
Children practice much better when parents are not in the room. This allows them to build independence while also building trust in their instructors. Parents can view classes through our newly installed viewing monitors in the main lobby. These monitors are connected to a closed circuit camera system to provide you with secure footage of in-progress classes.
How can I make payments?
Every parent will have their own parent portal through our online registration system. Through this system you will be able to register and make payments all from the convenience of your home, car, work, or wherever else you find yourself!
Other Important Information
BY enrolling your child in dance or gymnastics, you are giving them a gift. You are also giving us a gift by allowing us to help teach and nurture your child. We take this responsibility very seriously and are honored to do so. Thank YOU!

Sometimes little ones have a hard time adjusting to the first few weeks of classes. Don't worry! They will quickly become used to the routine, and we will work diligently to make their experience fun. If dance isn't fun for little ones, they are not happy!

All dancers and gymnasts are taught proper terminology and technique at CDA. Your money and time is precious, and we respect this.

Questions or concerns are always welcome! Please see Mrs. Cynthia at the desk for all scheduling or billing issues, or to schedule a time to talk to your child's instructor. Instructors will not be able to talk during class time as they are busy teaching our students.
